DAVE PALACIOS
David
and his wife, Krista, came to Thailand with Don & Kay in 1997 to
build the first swing-set at the Center. Krista helped in many areas
and loved the children. David worked with the guys and built 2
swing-sets. He also prayed in Hwuihya Village with a small Youth Group
gathered in the Pastors home. He returned to San Pedro with a new zeal
to serve the Lord.They
returned to Museekee in 1998 with a mission to build the frame work for
The Life Center. They were very involved in the Christmas Celebration
at the Center and David preached at a local Church.
In
1999 David set up the Water Filtration Plant at the Center and Krista
helped run our first Handclasp Table where students are allowed to
purchase gifts of their choice with earned "Handclasp Dollars".
October
2000 David had a working vacation for 5 weeks at the Center where he
bought and installed a complete Water System supplying water to all
bathrooms and a kitchen at the Center.
David and Krista continue to be active in fund raising and involving others in the work of Handclasp.
